What people are saying...
I'm grateful for such wonderful clients who have graciously taken the time to share these kind words...
"We engaged Brad as a trainer when we adopted a rescue dog. Having Brad working with us individually in the early stages of welcoming Lily into our home was an invaluable resource. One thing Brad helped us with immediately was to read Lily's body language and understand when she was feeling stressed and anxious. He helped us to create fun training games and activities that helped to build her confidence and her comfort with us and with environmental things she found scary and stressful. Brad's techniques have been a solid foundation for us to continue to work with Lily even after she has settled comfortably into our family. I don't feel at that time Lily would have been ready for a group training class, and having individual and personalized training was very helpful as we navigated the transition." Katie W.
"I got more than I bargained for with my rescue pup. He is an anxious dog, scared of everything. Brad has been incredible teaching me how to handle him and build his confidence. It is great to see our dog come out of his shell & enjoying life. We would not have made such progress without Brad's help. I would recommend Brad to anyone who needs help training their dog." Elizabeth R.
"To be honest, I wasn’t convinced that training would be helpful for my dog. Pepito was a rambunctious nibbler! He didn’t like going for walks and was extremely bad at fetch. He was pretty of out of control at times and I was scared he would run away when he was off leash. Training a puppy requires consistency, patience, and creative problem solving. Brad was able to set up structures to make sure I was being consistent in my training and helped me problem-solve 'bad' behaviors in real time. Training helped achieve walking without pulling, teach recall, crate training, less barking, fetch and probably more that I’m forgetting! Walking my dog is so much more relaxing and I have more strategies to tire him out so I’m not overwhelmed by his puppy energy! He has more fun now too because we’ve found a consistent schedule that gets him lots of exercise and stimulation. I also better understand his needs and how to avoid accidently rewarding behaviors that I don't want. We also trust his recall enough now to let him off leash at the beach, which he loves! Brad is really a people-trainer! I learned a lot about being consistent and how to see my behavior from a dog's point of view. Understanding how positive reinforcement works and how punishment doesn’t allow me to learn how to problem-solve on my own. I think I understood these things in theory but in practice it was much different. I highly recommend Brad!" Helena C.
"My two sighthounds and I had a great time working with Brad. He was patient and nonjudgmental and explained the hows and whys behind the strategies that we were using. He also gave me lots of helpful feedback not only during sessions, but between sessions via the Training Tracker and check-in texts. Thanks to everything that we learned, our walks are much calmer and the time I spend with my dogs is more rewarding." Andrea D.
"I will definitely refer other pet owners to Brad. He makes a lot of effort to observe and understand pet behavior along with the owner's needs. My 2 yr Labrador became defensive and at times aggressive after a trainer recommended I use a prong to train him. We removed it after I met Brad. We used positive reinforcement to train him. After 3 months of 1-1 in person training and support, Romeo plays well with other dogs, his recall is 90% there and I've learned to handle him. It's a work in progress, but the change is huge. We continue to work with Brad so I can continue to build a good relationship with Romeo. Also, Romeo loves Brad which is a good sign." Sabina B.
"Brad helped me with a very challenging greyhound. She was incredibly loving yet fearful and aggressive towards those she mistrusted--which was almost everyone. He taught me how to help her build her confidence and keep her motivated. These sessions helped turn her into a dog who became friendly and curious towards strangers. She actively sought out pets from my friends after implementing all the tips and tricks I learned. I highly recommend working with Brad. His approach is focused, kind, and positive." Fabienne D.
"My wife and I adopted a retired racer greyhound and had Brad Greene help us with her initial training and some behavior modifications. Even though we live in San Diego, we found the zoom call with him easy to use and natural. Brad has owned a couple greyhounds and I highly recommend him if you adopt or foster one. Brad is knowledgeable, kind, positive, and patient. We saw fast results with our dog. Our favorite aspect of his program is that he does DAILY updates to our training schedule-- so everyday we enter what training we did with our dog, and he leaves a comment. For us, this was a great way to held accountable through the week and it was an amazing deal to get tips and tricks from Brad while we weren't "on the clock."" Bran B.
"Brad truly cares about the dogs and families that he works with. He helped us understand a lot about our dog's behavior and how we could work to alleviate her fears through training... He has always been extremely flexible and accommodating with scheduling and location. In addition to personalized training, Brad has provided us with a tailored plan for our pup and he has had great follow up. You are in great hands with Brad from Fearless Dogs! We certainly recommend him and his positive training techniques." Karen S.
"Thanks Brad for your great training exercises...there is something to learn here by everyone. Brad Greene's method of positive reinforcement was put to the test the other night when on our late evening walk just ahead of us a pack of raccoons came running across the street! Now this would normally make Maleena go ballistic but I quickly applied his method...and she immediately turned and came to me and the raccoons ran into the bushes...We have been practicing this on our walks every day since the training and it has also helped with her barking at small dogs. He also gave me some good tips on getting her into the car, and we will be working on that..." Joyce A.
"I am so grateful to Brad Greene for the work he’s doing with us and Rudy (us mostly! 😂)! I was getting anxious during walks because Rudy would freeze a lot, and after meeting with Brad and working with him, we now have a set of tools we can use to get “unstuck”, and to prevent freezing in the first place. He is a different boy already, and hopefully we are better dog parents. Or at least working on that!" Barbara G.
"Very professional and congenial and knowledgeable." Carolyn M.
"A few weeks ago we asked Brad Greene of Fearless Dogs to help us with some issues we have had with Joni... His training suggestions have been helping us use positive methods to help Joni feel more comfortable around strangers in our home. We highly recommend him." Kim S.
"Brad Greene, thanks so much. We are so happy to have some techniques to work with Bowie on resource guarding and “go to bed” was a nice extra bonus." Laura B.
"I adopted a retired racing greyhound who was extremely and uncharacteristically aggressive toward other dogs, to the point that I had stopped taking her for walks or out in public. This situation broke my heart, but I had almost resigned myself that this was our fate, because I could not find a local trainer who would work with aggression issues using positive reinforcement. (The only trainer I found who would deal with aggression used shock collars, which I was unwilling to do.) I got Brad's name from a member of our local Greyhound adoption group and worked with him over Zoom. Brad's expertise with dogs in general and knowledge of greyhounds in particular helped teach us to trust each other and gave my dog more confidence - so much so that we are now able to go on co-walks with other dogs! Prior to working with Brad, she would growl, snarl and lunge for the throat of every dog we encountered. This is a sea change for us. Thank you, Brad, for giving me back my dog!!!" Pamela R.
"Brad has worked with me and my greyhound, Cora. She is proof that Brad's workshops and training work. Cora would whine at the sight of a dog from across the street and if we got near a dog there would be no way of regaining her attention. She would be fixated on the dog and not even a treat would stop it. She would growl when other dogs tried to greet her and would give owners a bad first impression of her. She is actually the sweetest dog towards humans and is extremely playful. Brad helped us with the stepping stones to help Cora feel that new dogs are actually okay! He helped us learn new tricks to distract her in situations where we couldn't avoid close contact with another dog. It then took a lot of our own efforts to make sure she progressed. Every single walk we worked on the skills Brad taught us. I am so proud to say that Cora can now look at me with eye contact at the sight of a new dog, this is when she earns a treat. She would much rather earn a treat than be fixated on other dogs and with slow introductions, wont growl with a new dog! Brad is extremely knowledgeable and can help you with any less than perfect qualities about your canine companion." Christianna T.
"I had a one on one training session for my 10 month old borzoi with Brad. His knowledge and insight into dogs is incredible! Zeroed in quickly on the issues and behavior concerns I was having, and worked with both me and my dog to address them. I would highly recommend Brad!" David D.
"We had such a great experience working with Brad last month. We see a tremendous improvement on our walks, particularly with Beau's reactiveness to other dogs. He is a total sweetie now, ignores the dogs we pass by and looks to us for a treat instead. Really, the huge progress we've made in a very short period of time, using the tips we learned from Brad, have made a huge difference in how much we all enjoy our walks." Kimberly H.
"Brad's easy yet professional demeanor connects with owners and dogs equally. Our 96 pound greyhound was very territorial and protective, showing aggression towards other dogs. Brad taught us how to read his behavior, find out why he's reactive and we were able to teach our hound to focus on us when other dogs are around. Our walks are now enjoyable and stress free. We can not recommend him enough!" Jenny A.
"Brad is awesome! He made me and my dog feel comfortable, he was extremely patient, explained everything in detail, and even gave us follow up homework to do together. I highly recommend Brad whether its puppy training, rescue work (like us), or if you just want to learn something new. Thanks for everything Brad! We couldn't of done it without you!" Leana V.
"It brings me so much happiness to see them take turns chasing each other outside! Seca’s making great strides. We’ve now had three successful meetings with friends and all she wants is love and pets. Thank you so much for helping us, Brad Greene" Fabienne J.
"Brad is fantastic... I couldn't afford one-on-one training sessions. But he was so generous and suggested that I look at YouTube videos as an alternative... In short - clearly a caring organization with caring people." Leah B.
"...Had a refresher dog course with Brad. all is moving in the right direction." Stephen S.
"We connected with Brad to help work with our girl Gretel, and it has been a really great experience... Gretel has been very responsive both in person with Brad and when we are working with her alone. He has many tools, tips and wisdoms to impart, but almost more importantly is the time he takes to hear your grey’s story and what a typical day in your household is like in order to customize the exercises such that they fit your unique family’s needs. After the sessions Brad will continue to provide support and check in via phone and text as well. Highly recommend!" Lauren S.
"We loved working with you Brad, and we're already seeing progress! Thank you!" Allison F.
"If you have behavior problems with your hound I strongly suggest you stop by and speak to Brad. Brad... successfully worked with many of our adopters... Let Brad help you and I would suggest to sign up for some private lessons. Face to Face instruction is a big benefit. A knowledgeable guardian and a dog that knows what to do..can't do better than that. Big benefit Brad has adopted from us and knows what we do with our hounds." Stuart H.
"I had a phone consultation with Brad and he gave very helpful advice. I'm still recovering from a bad fall so Shout is with his regular walker but he gets frustrated that I won't take him out. He was acting out- growling and snapping, etc. Brad gave some helpful advice after a thorough call. We followed his advice and have had no problems with going out." Joan C.
"We really enjoyed our training session and will definitely be incorporating your suggestions into our lives." Kara L.
"I was searching for a trainer to help me with one of our Beagles we had recently rescued. Olive is a love but on a leash she was Cujo! Came across Fearless Dogs and gave Brad a call. The best phone call I ever made! He was full of information to help me help Olive. Always on time, worked with Olive with positive training, and as time went on with consistent training our sweet Beagle began to respond positively. I now feel confident when I walk her instead of worried about seeing other dogs. Olive is much better and I'm sure if she could speak she would thank Brad!!!! If your looking for a trainer and want the best, give Brad a call. You and your dog will not regret it!!!" G. P.
"Thank you Brad!! I loved seeing the progress she showed already. Cora will be greeting friends in no time! But no rush" Christianna T.
"...I completely trust Brad with my pup and he is a great source of information about dogs and dog training...Highly recommended. Thanks Brad!" A M.
"I can not recommend Brad enough! He was Ares’ foster dad and if you know my confident, sitting, well behaved, communicator of a greyhound, that was the product of just a couple months as a new retiree. Don’t hesitate to call him, he’s wonderful!" Jenny A.
"Brad has been helping us work with our rescue dog. Brad is patient and gives thoughtful attention to our dog's particular trigger issues. We've appreciated the time and effort Brad has put in with us and our dog is much happier." Juls W.
"Brad is incredibly trustworthy and nice (not just anyone can handle a greyhound)." A.A.R.
