Hello and thank you for visiting! As a certified trainer with thousands of hours of professional dog handling experience, I'm fully equipped and ready to help you and your dog. I provide professional training & consulting services designed to help clients solve behavior & training challenges while building thriving relationships with their dogs. The training is positive reinforcement based (force free) and dog friendly. I'm located in Mountain View, CA and provide custom packages including, in person, virtual services using Zoom, hybrid packages that include both online and in person sessions. Some of the behavior issues that I work on frequently include:
  • Leash walking challenges, such as pulling or "freezing"
  • "Reactive" behaviors, such as barking/growling/lunging at dogs/people/bikes, etc.
  • Fear based behaviors
  • Resource guarding (guarding food, toys)
  • Aggression issues
  • Separation Anxiety
  • Unresponsive/"stubborn"
  • Fun games to add enrichment and build confidence

Please note that I only accept projects with clients that commit to investing the time and resources to properly address the issue. Generally, this entails multiple sessions packaged together which provides a working framework for the project. This allows me to work with a relatively small set of clients at time so that I can focus on providing excellent support to those folks that are invested in learning and building the skills needed to achieve desired outcomes. I have found that working on a session to session basis does not serve my clients nor their dogs well. Dog training, like most other things, takes time and practice in order to get it right. I offer a free initial phone consult to better understand your situation, answer questions, determine if my services would be a good fit to address your training goals, and suggest what a training plan would like like based on your needs.

If you are interested in aversive/compulsive style training, my services may not be the right fit for you. I am Fear Free Certified and do not use "pinch" collars, shock collars, and the like. There are other trainers that use these methods, although I strongly advise against it because of the risk of behavioral fallout and relational damage that can result. I understand that it can be confusing and even overwhelming for many pet owners due to the vast amount of information available online about dog training. I encourage you to take time to do your own research before making a decision that could potentially cause harm to your pet. Here are some resources that may help:
