A bit of my story...

Hello, I'm Brad and that's my happy greyhound, Asher. Please read on for more info and if you'd like to connect about your dog, click the 'sign-up' tab above to complete the form and I'll follow up with you promptly to schedule a time to discuss your training goals...
In 2011, I adopted my first rescue greyhound (pictured below). His track name was "Junkyard John" and so he kept the name "John". I lost him in 2019 to cancer at age 11. In between, we shared many adventures and I believe I learned as much from him as he did from me. He was truly a beautiful dog and an amazing companion and he inspired me to pursue the wonderful world of dog training. As it turned out, I'm not bad at it (or at least I like to think so).

As a CPDT certified trainer, I use positive reinforcement based training methods, including clicker training.... no prongs or shock collars here... and strive to create a positive experience for both humans and canine friends. I do my best to tailor my services in a targeted way to achieve the best results for each client and to make learning fun for both clients and dogs.
I became Fear Free Certified in 2021 and enjoy helping to reduce stress in dogs during home care and training. I also partner with multiple rescue groups to provide behavior support. My goal is to help clients address their specific behavior concerns or training goals effectively and humanely. In the process, I hope to improve the welfare of the dogs by adding enrichment opportunities to their lives while strengthening the human-dog relationship.
Before focusing primarily on training, I offered a dog hiking service that was a lot of fun. I traveled to various trails around the Bay Area hiking with several dogs at a time. The experience of spending countless hours with those dogs, working with them and simply observing their behavior, helped me to better understand much about them.
I adopted my second greyhound, Asher in 2019. I am blessed to have him in my life! Below are a few videos with Asher.
