This course was designed for clients who want a to better understand their dog's behavior and need a clear, structured roadmap to a more confident, less reactive dog, and more enjoyable outings.
If your dog barks, pulls, lunges, freezes, panics, or generally gets overwhelmed in real-world environments, this program gives you the tools to understand what’s happening and the skills to change it.
You’ll use these modules alongside our sessions so you can make faster, more consistent progress.
Why I Created This for You
Reactive dogs need structure, consistency, and predictable practice. Humans need clear guidance on how to implement these concepts in practice. This course takes the most important concepts from our sessions and breaks them into simple, repeatable steps you can practice between appointments. It’s designed to reduce overwhelm, increase confidence, and help you feel supported every step of the way.

The course is broken into clear, bite-sized modules that match the progression we use in sessions:
Module 1 — Understanding Reactivity
What reactivity is, why it happens, thresholds, arousal, and how the nervous system shapes behavior.
Module 2 — Foundations for Calm
Skills, patterns, and leash handling that lower arousal and build communication.
Module 3 — Trigger Awareness & Threshold Management
How to recognize early signs of stress and create the right amount of distance.
Module 4 — Leash Skills
Movement strategies, positioning, walking patterns, and pressure-free leash communication.
Module 5 — Controlled Exposure
How to introduce triggers safely, slowly, and in a way the dog can actually learn from.
Module 6 — Troubleshooting & Maintenance
How to manage setbacks, adjust the plan, and support your dog long-term.
